Behind every great event is a great chef.
Executive Chef Andrew D. Harker
Chef Andrew Harker has worked in the culinary industry throughout the United States for over 30 years. After returning to Columbus in 1991, he became Sous Chef at the Bexley Monk Restaurant. The Bexley Monk was repeatedly voted one of the top 10 fine dining restaurants during his tenure until 2000.
Chef Harker joined ARAMARK at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in 2000, where he prepares a wide variety of fresh seafood, meats and fowl. Chef Harker does not limit his creativity to ARAMARK’s standard menu items. He frequently creates wonderful customized menus for guests numbering from 20 to 10,000, including the creation of “The Wall of Fire” of Cherries Jubilee over fudgie brownies and Bananas Foster over citrus pound cake for thousands of guests.
Chef Harker contributes his time and culinary talents to the Volunteers of America, Women Against Domestic Violence and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He also has participated in the Columbus Arts Festival and the Grand Chef’s Charity Auction.
